You’ve Got Questions. We’ve Got Answer

FAQS

DO I NEED TO PROVIDE MY OWN TRANSPORTATION TO MY MENTOR SITE?

Yes. Either you will have to drive yourself or your parent will have to take you .

DO I HAVE TO TAKE BOTH SEMINAR & FIELD?

No. Although the best part of the program is going out in the Field and getting that first hand experience from professionals...it is not required.  There is still great benefit in finding potential career paths and colleges for your future in Seminar.

CAN I TAKE SEMINAR Junior YEAR & FIELD MY Senior YEAR?

Absolutely! In fact, that's what a majority of our students work in to their schedule...Seminar class their Junior year (which is a 1 hour and 1 Trimester class) and Field class their Senior year (which is 2 hour (6th & 7th) 1 Trimester class).

I HAVE TOO MANY AP AND CIS CLASSES TO FIT FIELD INTO A 6th & 7th HOUR...WHAT CAN I DO?

Come talk to me!  We will work something out with your Counselor.  Historically - students will do a 0 and 7th hour so you still get 2 credits for the course, you are just released 7th hour for your Mentorship as opposed to 6th and 7th.

STUDENT ADMISSIONS

What to Know About Registration

Academic achievement is only a small part of the picture in a student’s life, and is often weighted far too heavily in school admissions offices. Rosemount Mentor Program selects students based on indicators of their future potential, characteristics including intellectual curiosity, perseverance in the face of adversity, and creativity. For more information and to start your application, contact the admissions office.
